Day 18 Thoughts

When will the Chills Stop? Feel pretty good except for those darn chills, they do stop Right?  When I say pretty good I mean Good Days, days 6,7 day 12, Day 16 & 17, Bad days all the others. Just realized thats 2 good days in a row.. Today not so good because have to give speech at public Saftey commission, got through last Wed. 6 hour meeting with pills in pocket, because of this site.. So maybe I need a little help. Before Mr. Norco I use to love Public speaking because it scared the **** out of me, gave me that fear buzz, loved being afraid ( weird ) Then with Mr Norco no fear whatsoever, wasn't as much fun. Now I'm just unsure and uncomfortable, no self confidence. This time the fear is not fun.  I guess I'm just a Day 18 recovering addict, asking for help once again.... Don't think I'll put the pills in my pocket tonight.. But then again I might still need that out....

It's hard to belive you still have withdrawls from hydro. It should end soon.

I found those chills to be awful, what I do is get my work-out clothes on & like it or not, I go for a walk & trust me when I say, ITS COLD OUTSIDE! But I do it anyway, as it relieves my anxiety & warms me up, this for me is one of my lifesaving remedys in my methadone detox, laying around is not the best thing for me, so no matter how bad I feel, I get up & start moving, it helps. They WILL go away. I had them for a while too. Jsut take you vitamins, work out drink lots of fluids and get all of those toxins out of your body.

By the way, I actually changed my major in college so I didn't have to take a public speaking class so I can relate!

Alright I love this site and its helped me, but we are in this battle for ourselves.  My Response to Self...     Suck it up cry-baby, stand up and be a man, you've come through 18 days of this fiend and now your worried about a little speech, Please spare me. Your pathetic get a grip.....  Thanks Myself... I'm off to work, no pills in my pocket!
