What is going on?

ok so i have finally managet o get clean fromthe percocets 18 days today then all hell broke loose and i am confused, i had to go to the er i had a ruptured cyst and they said myovary on my left side was enlarged plus i am having alot of symptoms of ovarion cancer.  ot to mention i haven't haad a period since Jan, and started yesterday. I have an appointment with the gyno but since i am in so much pain they gave me pain meds which is easy for me  to get addicted to no matter what  kind they are. so does this mean i have relapsed and have to start over? they only gave me a 15, 1 to 2 tabs every 4 to 6 hrs as needed for pain. which the eer doctor said i will need them  for i am going to bbe prertty sore for the next few days. i have my husband keeping them locked up till i need one but i want o know does this mean i have to start all over? Disapointed.

Hi tcprice..glad to see you :) but i am sorry for the circunstances.. I would think that your priority is solving the medical problem. Your husband is holding the pills and you are doing right considering the pain you are going through... You have not relapsed, you are going through a serious health issue and you need help for it. Focus now on this . All the best, dear.

dang, every day is a new day.. (you did not relapse)

keep the safegaurds up.. at time womans cycle is messed up during and after opiate abuse or use..

take vitamins and supplements. get your estrogen checked..

Halstead> yes i had w/d gettin off them i went to a treatment center for 7 days, i do not want to g throught withdrawls again but i will not take them unless it is that bad.  am really tryin here but now that i had to take 2 tonight i am soo upset that i justt wasted 18 days for nothing. i wnat that 30 day mark that was my goal. so should ii even count this day and start over or what????

TC, in some ways it may set you back. If the pain is so bad that you need to take the meds then yes it will cause withdrawal. But the knowledge that you have beaten it for 18 days can be a strong reassurance.  
You are not starting all over, it may make things harder for a bit if you decide you truly need it for the pain, but youve decided that you wanted to be off, and even taken the step to be sober for almost 3 weeks =). That says alot.
