Day 31 and I'm still here!

Hi guys,
Starting a new post, cuz I don't know where the old one went, it was so long ago.. seems like a lifetime.  It's been over a month now that I've been off the 70mg of oxys and 40mg of percs/day... been trying to deal with the pain using icy hot on my neck, taking tylenol, advil, and that's all for the pain... never thought I'd see the day!

Anyhow, wish the w/ds would go away, looking forward to getting more energy, but I had a whole 3 days (in a row!)w/o pain, and actually felt a natural high... could laugh and smile for the first time in months.  Ohhhh.... also been eating more, which is GREAT for me, and starting to do things around the house that needed doing 10 years ago when I first started the opiate rx carousel.  Hard to believe I've let so much accumulate - I must have been blind.

Just checking in to let u know that it can, and will get better.... sometimes it takes a while, but it does!

Take care everyone, and thanks for your continued support,
Kathy

240 pill bottle $39.99 plus $6 shipping

Description:
Crave Control contains key amino acids and precursors (5-HTP, Glutamine, Tyrosine and dl- Phenylalanine) plus vitamins B6 and C that help convert these amino acids into brain neurotransmitters involved in cravings for carbohydrates, drugs and alcohol, energy levels and mood. Provides balanced Serotonin and Dopamine support. Chromium picolinate is present to aid in blood glucose management.

Crave Control™ contains key "neuro-nutrients" that supply the brain with raw materials required for normal neurotransmitter production. With neurotransmitters at normal levels, cravings become fewer and weaker, thinking is clearer, and feelings are more positive and focused. Sleep improves.

Crave Control™ contains targeted amino acids specifically needed for manufacture of dopamine, epinephrine, norepinephrine, and serotonin. These neurotransmitters enable "brain reward" activity. By providing nutrients for replenishing neurotransmitter stores, Crave Control helps to restore brain chemistry balance and related feelings of well-being and satisfaction. In addicted individuals, brain neurotransmitter levels may be so depleted that an diet alone cannot provide the amino acids necessary to restore balance.

Eight Capsules Contain:

dl-Phenylalanine                                             2000mg
L-Glutamine                                                     750mg
L-Tyrosine                                                      1500mg
5-Hydroxytryptophan(5-HTP)                         150mg
Vitamin B-6 (Pyridoxine HCI)                          75mg
Chromium (Picolinate)                               1000mcg
Vitamin C                                                       1000mg

Contains No: Wheat, corn, soy, salt, sucrose, starch, yeast, artificial flavors, or colorings.

Precautions:
Should not be taken with Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOI's), antipsychotic medications or for panic disorders. Should not be used by phenylketonurics (PKU), or pregnant or lactating women. This product is not intended to take the place of prescription medications. Anyone taking medications should consult a doctor before using any product.

Never heard of Jumpstart before but will have to check it out.

Glad you are putting on some weight.  We will get some "junk in the trunk" yet on you!!!  LOL

I would maybe lay off the immodium for awhile and see if your bowels will settle down a bit.

Just wanted to check in and ask about something.  I couldn't order any Crave Control because the stupid bank messed up and didn't send me my new card yet.  So I ordered something called Jumpstart off of ebay (with buyer protection can get refund if needed).  It's supposed to be a natural stimulant and mood enhancer, and seems to have many benefits, according to all the reading that I've been doing about it the past 2 days.  I've read testimonials from recovering drug addicts that it's been a great deal of help to them.

I'm still very lacking in energy, and can't drink coffee, so it seemed as though this might be the ideal thing for me.

Good news is that I'm putting on more weight day by day, but am still having w/d symptoms, such as the runs, which I realize might go on for months - given my long term history opiate use & abuse.

Any input you might have will be appreciated on Jumpstart - and any suggestions of what to use when immodium stops working?

Yes it helps with the cravings of carbs, alcohol, and drugs. On the bottle it says: Crave Control contains neurotransmitters precursors and converting nutrients that help satisfy the "reward cascade" of the brain.

I just did some internet searching on this, and it looks like it's used mainly for weight loss... which is definitely something I don't need, as I'm just getting up past the 80 pound mark again (what years of drugs do!)

If you have other information, please let me know, ok?
