Day 5 withdrawl symptoms arnt bad BUT.....

Okay so the whole reason I got started on pain killers was I was in pain!! I get shark pains in my lower, shooting pains down my right leg, my joints hurt, my knees, kips and ankels pop when I walk. My legs burn, I get migranes, I have jaw issues The list goes on.... Tylenol doesnt help, ibuprophren doesnt help, muscel relaxers knock me out, and with two kids and a full time job I cant have that.... So instead I took opiotes... So now that im off the pain meds all the aches and pains, popping and pains are all back. I think my dr thinks im crazy because all my blood tests are normal... So my question is.... NOW WHAT?? Dont want to go back to the pills, but cant spend my life stuck on the couch either! So what do I do???

Oh Im not going back! I dont really even know why I was taking them anyways... Its not like they were making me feel good anymore.... I just wish I could figure out a way to make it stop without having to take that **** EVER again... I will try to get some walking in today maybe that will help.

Dont remember your particulars with the back or the pains......its usually time to do some stretching exercises (yoga ball therapy and stretching) and hot water (showers work well) for the back.......maybe think oriental - libraries have dvd's of tai chi and cho gong - - also both accupuncture and accupressure work .... lidocaine transdermal patches do so-so for me... I found that pepper extract ( capzasin @ walgreens) works quite well for cervical - neck - pains for me...... may work on other parts-havent tried it that way-  just keep asking and looking - - I did a short of Bowen Therapy and it was medium effective for several weeks................. havent gone to chiropractor yet - but plan on it ......dont give up!!

Low impact exercise is the best medicine right now.  I can relate to all your aches and pops and pains.  there are some days I barely make it out of the bed I hurt so bad.  There will ALWAYS be an excuse to use.  Figure out how to get through life without popping a pill for every little thing.  It sounds crazy but give your body and mind time to heal.  About 6 months into it, you'll realize your pain isn't as bad as you always thought it was, and miraculously......tylenol will begin to help with headaches, and other things.  Your receptors right now think the only thing that will help is an opiate.  It takes a while for them to be willing to accept tylenol or ibuprofen.
Daily exercise will help you....its tough to get started but it really works wonders for the pains, aches, burning.
