Day 5....ehhhhhh

So here i am day #5.  My spirits are still high but ugh, how could i feel so "ok" yesterday and so YUCKY today???  I thought the worst was over:(  I have no energy and gosh does my body ache, not to mention I AM FRICKIN FREEZING!!!!  I sure hope i feel a little better before i go back to work on monday....lord knows there will be no taking it easy then.  Ah well this is the price that i have to pay to get my life back.  So im gonna stop feeling sorry for myself and even though it hurts, im gonna get my butt up and clean and do some laundry, maybe a shower will make me feel better.  Super weird to bring up here but I usually dream all the time about getting more vicoding or how i will get them or just be dreaming of being high on them, last night i had a dream that a friend of mine was taking them and i was crying and pleading to her to stop, telling her how much better i feel already and that she can do it too! It was weird, but in a strange way it was a good dream????????

I am also on day 5 and I feel worse today too! I also used them for energy so maybe that is why. This am I felt like I needed a lift to raise me out of bed. I was suppose to orient someone today at my work but thank goodness too much snow for her to make it. I would rather shiver in privacy for now :) Hang in there I know it will get better for all of us. It is a Giant reminder of why we never want to go back..............

Yes that was my whole reasoning for using!  I felt like i could do anything while on vics.  Felt like a better mother, wife, daughter, employee, the whole shabang...that is until i realized what a problem i truly had, but even then i NEEDED those vicodin to get things done!   Thanks for your wise words!

Hi, I have been watching  you for a few days here, isn't this site a Godsend?

Anyhow, I believe that what you are experiencing is very normal...good days and bad days...hang in there, get LOTS of fluids into your body (anything to help flush the drugs out of you system ie water and juices with antioxidants such as cranberry or pomo or blueberries)

You dream...I'm no expert, but seems like a sign of resolve in yourself, you may have even been talking to yourself in the dream...and not your friend...I think it's a good dream, seem a hell of a lot better than dreaming about being high or trying to get high...

go love your child, get the shower (anything sorta normal will help) and the chills suck...you might hav cold sweats and stuff too...bundle up next to a heater if you can, rent kids movies and watch them all day while hugging your child...You are awesome.

i started having those funky dreams as well...u will be fine and reember this energy loss happens to many and was my worst obstacle..as i work and stay super busy..take my energy away and i wilt!  whole reason i used the pills was for energy....this passes and came in waves for me with good energy periods for a few days the n bad energy days..remember doing rocket shots to get out the door to work..and i dont even drink caffeiene... i hit the aminos hard when the energy loss was about to do me in..tyrosine was great for me..and hit the gym whether i felt like it or not...and made it thru the lethargy phase..not all have this and maybe just those who used for energy have it?  dont know but do know some never have the "heavy legs" things where u feel like melting into the couch..i also slept alot verses insomnia during detox
