Congrats on your 12 hard-earned days!!  I'm not sure that you shouldn't dwell on the negative.  Maybe you should remember the misery you've gone-through?  Use the memories for motivation to stay clean.  The withdrawals weren't easy, but remember what you just went through when you're out of debt and have extra money to spend.

Keep posting, and welcome to the other side!  Free at last.

YOU are well on your way to longer and longer stretches of hope and happiness. As said above, don't dwell on the negative as far as bills and such. Your taking care of you right now and that in itself will lead to all your problems leveling out. So, So very happy your getting your life back. The running /walking will be a Godsend. I also used music to keep me pumped up and motivated while healing. Your endorphins need to be stimulated once again. Keep on keeping on. Your doing amazing!

Yayyy day 12 now I'm doing a lot better I take all the advice I can get and it motivates me so much more thanks for telling me that these groups don't require insurance that made me feel a little more at ease. Moments in my day I get like feeling down    so I have a cross my grandmother gave me around my neck and I say a prayer for strength and guidance and courage to keep on trucking it really helps..  I also think about the money I am saving and I can spend on my daughter now   I always had guilty feelings I'm so happy now that I'm doing and in such a good place now thank u all for listening to my saga

Hi there I'm another former victim of the demon oxys. I know what you mean about putting the bills on the back burner. You didn't do this mess in a day and it will take some time to clean it up. Just remind yourself of how much you have saved each day by not using.  That will ease the anxiety a bit. Also,   NA/AA is free and you don't need insurance.  Now get online and find all the nearby meetings and get going! You're doing great!

Hi and welcome and good for you!!  11 days is progress.  Try not to dwell or let all the sh*t overwhelm you that you avoided while using.  Just work on one small thing at a time.  And NA/AA are free- they do not require insurance.  This is an awesome place for you to learn how to live clean.
Keep up the exercise- it really does help your brain and body heal faster than anything else.
Just take real good care of yourself and the rest takes care of itself.
Wishing you well...

I agree 100 percent with Sonrissa. AA or NA can lead to making a lot of good friends who won't judge you. There is something powerful from talking to a recovering addict. I try to do it daily even if its just a short post. I don't know your social situation but AA and NA have a lot of social events that can be fun. I struggled with oxy's also but I go to AA instead of NA. Basically they are the same but in my area the AA group seems more on track with my goals. Anyway I'm not trying to be an AA or NA promoter but if you are bored it will put you with people who know how to stay sober.

Hi there, and congrats on the 11 days! Are you getting any kind of aftercare? AA/NA meetings will give you lots of in person support, and can help with the depression and boredom.  Getting some exercise, like your running/walking is great. Keep that up. The mental part of this process can be difficult. Stay strong and focused. Keep posting here with any questions, or if you need any support. Take care, and I wish you all the best!

Congrats!!! Just keep your brain working, it needs to learn how to work again and that takes time. Anything to stimulate your brain. Just keep grinding and it will get better. I started feeling a lot better around day 20, differs for everyone. It's normal to have a range of emotions.
