Detox Question? Need Advice

Im into my 6th day of coming off tapering off of 90mgs down to 1mg, then down to zero & I got to tell everyone, it does get better with every passing day! Now I get why you must taper slow! I couldnt imagine detoxing off of a high dose, ugh. I still have the chills, sleep is getting better, my energy is coming back, I feel alot better almost to good, but I do have one question that Im hoping someone can answer, I keep sneezing in the mornings, & I get this drip down my throat that is so annoying & next thing ya know Im coughing, Im not sick & I dont smoke, is this typical? & Will it get better soon? Also is their any over the counter meds that can help? Thanks Penelope

I didnt have the sneezing but ALOT of people do ....

it will stop in a few weeks maybe a little longer. I was sneezing like crazy when i quit the pills too.

ohh the sneezing!!!LOL that seems to be just the way it is..I am so gald your feeling good. i wish i would have found this site when i quit methadone.. You are an inspiration to others to know it is possible no matter how wicked that nasty drug is..God bless you.

im so proud of u..hang in there .....benadryl also helps the sneezing...i had a problem with that also and it helped me but it still lasted quite a while...i wonder why we sneeze so much?....i thought it had something to do with me snorting my pills but i have read that people who dont snort them also sneeze alot during w/d.....that has me puzzled...everything puzzles me though lol....again i am so very proud of u...god bless u hun

Yes, the sneezing is normal. I have heard you can take cold med for sinus and it will help. Your doing so great !  Truely and inspiration.  Oh, try Alkaselzer cold & sinus tabs.
