HI and welcome to the forum...the cravings come and go it what you do with them that makes or breaks you....first its a thought if not stoped it becomes an obsession once there it can very well become an action...this is why we preach so much about aftercare
it helps to teach you skills and give you tools to help deal with things like cravings
my advise is get pluged into something soon your going to need help to deal with stuff like this N/A and A/A are free and both are good programs if thats not a good fit then try a substance abuse conslor or an addiction therapist but if this is left untreated failure is common...it dosent have to be that way you have a choice ...guard your clean time
good luck and God bless....Gnarly
It shouldn't last much longer the mornings is the hardest for me and when the boys get home from school i started getting more energy around noon and now i am pooped but having 2 kids to run after that is normal
At 530 today will be 3 days today waS a whole hellva lot better then yesterday I even when to work and had energy but I still have a strong craving how lot will that last?
Hey congrads on day 7 you made it thew the wost of the withdrawals ...your energy will start to return to you as time goes by hang in there...what are your plans for aftercare ?
its important to long term sobriety and so many dont realize this until its to late...
good luck and God bless......Gnarly
Good For You! I have been in a similiar boat and look forward to my kids getting out of school and being clean!
You should be proud of yourself. One week is awesome and just think, it will keep improving, just keep your guard up. Congrats, your doing great!
Congrats on those clean days!!!!! sara
I'm so proud of you too. You are through the hardest part of the physical w/ds. And it is a great accomplishment. Please continue to be strong because our addict minds can try to convince us once we're feeling better that it's OK to try using again.
Keep fighting the good fight. It is so liberating not to have to plan our lives around pills.
You will definitely be able to keep up with your boys. Even if you're still dragging. Get out there and move. It will make you feel so much better mentally and physically.
God Bless....Rue.
Great news!! You must be really proud of yourself. (Though I'm not an addict I am on a ton of narcotics for pain management. I am working towards looking at alternative treatments for the pain. When I get through my next surgery (no date scheduled yet), and I find a non-narcotic treatment, my goal is to get off these meds. I know I'll have to go through some withdrawals (even with the help of my pain management team). I hope I'll be as strong and brave as the people on here.
yesss, congrats on your week !! freedom tastes great :)
Hey,good for you!!!! Keep it up!!!
