Distraction

I have kept myself very busy today. Everytime I stop the anxiety comes. With my anxiety comes a "stress rash." I break out in itchy splotchy rash from my chest up. Is this a normal wd symptom?  Is it just me?  It's so painfull.

I get this sort of thing when i am stressed.  Usually on my one arm.  This last week or so has been bad.  I use hydrocortisone cream and it works.

Hang in there Kelseago - I'm sorry you're still having such difficulty.

Just tell yourself (thanks gnarly) that you'll have to be okay with not being okay for a while.  And then when you're starting to feel a little better and have a little more energy, you'll be able to work out (maybe not as much as you used to but you'll get there) and then the exercise will help SO much with the anxiety.  Baby steps girl - just keep going!  You didn't get here overnight and you won't get out overnight right?

And if you don't feel like smiling or moving around - DON'T - in the grand scheme of things, this short amount of time will be but a "bleep" on the radar, you'll see.  I have faith in you!  :)

I was working out atleast 5 days a week but I haven't in about a month. I miss being able to go to the gym. It was very theraputic for me. I take some vitamins, I probably need more.
It'll definitely worth it, just gotta make through it.  If I can get past the stress/anxiety

It really does get better. Just know this: your brain is healing now and it's all good. Are you taking vitamins? The B vits are really helpful along with regular multivits. I take a lot of Vit C which is great for tissue, nervous system, cell reproduction,etc...Can't hurt. Exercise is really helpful. Don't underestimate it.

I agree. This is one of the hardest thing you'll ever do...and it's worth it!!

It's only ever been a tiny itchy bump here n there. This is just crazy!  This is beyond anything I have ever dealt with before!  I've had some pretty high stresses in my life but none have caused this. Oh well....i guess I better get used to it

Oh..okay. So,this is usual for you.  Do you have any Benadryl in the house?

You're doing a great job working through all of this. I know it's hard but it gets better!

It's hortibly itchy, i get them only when I'm under high stress. I was scratching throughout my meeting last night. Itched all last night and when I woked it wad all over my neck n face. I started unpacking my house and then painting, calming myself down, and it just went away.

Kels--  Rashes are not so usual...but who knows?   Are you sure it's a stress rash? Is it like hives?    Generally, rashes and hives don't hurt...Is it terribly itchy?

It sounds like you're working yourself up into a frenzy so to speak.  Have you tried any relaxation techniques like yoga or meditation (I just spoke to mommyoffive about this)?  Try doing them right now and see what happens.  :)  I'm sending positive thoughts to you as I write this.  Reach out and grab them!  :)
