Do Vitamins really work??

Question

I have been reading post on this site for over an hour. I am shocked, Can lack of vitamins really be the anwer to withdrawals from methodone. I have been on the meth about 5 mos. Got up to 50mgs. Now at 20mgs. Have not dosed in 3 days.. Am so scared to dose after everthing I have read about methdone. Had to take a few pain pills today. Just do not know if I can make it.. I do not think there is anything more painful than kicking this stuff.. I am open to trying anything that might help......

take a look at feohmoon profile if you go into there journal's you will see some great info on vitamins to come off of methadone ..... Go take a look at it ,i think it will be very helpful.

I am not sure how to use this site so bear with me.. What program did you use, and what part of the world are you in.. I have panic attacks, and can not take my med with the methodone. I need to get back on my meds. Been going through hell, and the methdone keeps withdrawal aways. but adds to the panic attacks..

If you do NOT get off methadone you will be taking it for the  rest of your life. Theoutpatient program I used had infor regarding methadone treatment. I think they give you oxys for a while and then switch you to Subutex, which is amazing..nonaddictive and perfect

Methadone is best tapered off of slowly. If you quit, withdrawals can last 3weeks+ for some.

And yes vitamins are essential to getting and staying clean. They will not keep you from having withdrawals. They will help your body to repair itself faster.

Medidetox is the program I used to get off oxy contin..but i also saw a program to get off methadone...Its an outpatient program that really works. They give u meds to decrease withdrawals and are MUCH better than being hooked on methadone..Pretty simple actually
