Done with meds, taper STEPPED OFF OXYCONTIN

I went for it yesterday and stepped off my long acting daytime Oxycontin.  Feeling fine still.  It's a huge relief that it didn't seem to effect me at all.  I did add on a small amount of Oxydodone in place since I was taking 30mg 2 x daily.  The taper is still working great for me.  I'm down 45mg Oxy so far in 25 days and half my Soma, and tramadol.

My doctor wants me to taper off the Oxycodone first so that I get over that Nacotic hurtle which I think will make me feel really good.  Then I will tackle the tramadol and then the Soma.  I hope to be off all by July at the latest but it seems to be going faster than I thought it would.
I have weaned off and on Tramadol many times over the years and for whatever reason it doesn't seem to bother me too much.  Of course I always had the Oxy on board so that helped I'm sure.
I will let you know what my doc suggests after I see her on the 12th.

Hey Jen
You are doing amazing.  I'm so glad you are off the oxycontin.  If I was you I would do the tramadol next.  It is the roughest out of the rest.
I know none of them are "easy" but a lot of people have a rougher time coming off of tramadol.
What do you think?
