sub withd

Been off suboxone since June 2009. Weined off  sucessfully' but jump to another crutch and stop that and went back to 5mg oxycodone and then stopped after about 1 and half months. In the past 25 days I have cut one fifteen mg into quarters and now I'am clean of opiates for 10 dys now. I have 2 exercise first thing in  the mornong to function, but I have been doing that for 20 yrs off and on . It's the only thing that gives me energy. the energy last from 5 am to about noon time and then I crash bad I cant move from being lathergic and tightness in my arms. I'am taking Wellbrutin and Lorazapam and that helps depression a little think I may have to get something stronger for that? Lorazapam takes the anxiety a liitle but I only take it when  really need it. My question is will these lathergic episodes ever go away or was I on suboxone to long that it is going to take longer?   Thank you 4 any help!!!!

Tha nk you for your comment. I am lucky if I take Lorzapam a day. When my anxiety is out of control or to sleep. These are .50 mgs. The lathergic I get it takes me down. Not like I was tired and lazy it takes me down. Like I'am drained and get tightness in my arms like unreal. Thought it may be from doing push ups, but if still starts up even when I don't exercise.

Is lorazapam like valium? I'm thinking it is. Nothing that makes me more lethargic than valium. But that's me. You might want to try a non narcotic drug instead. Nothing bad to say about the wellbutrin.(dont know anything)  How often do you take the L ? mgs?

I was on 100mg of methadone for 2 years. I was lathargic for a LONG time. You will not experience such a long length of being energy deprived. Even though your wd's are pretty much on the way out (great thing!) you will still feel tired and lazy. Completely natural. The excercise thing is great. Your energy will return. Try and stay away from caffeine. Try L-Tyrosine and a really good B-Complex from the health food store.

At noon time try and take a nap if possible. After the nap immediately get up and eat something healthy. Low fat cottage cheese with fruit....chicken breast salad....yogurt...
Use these foods as a snack and not your meal as you will need all the calories you can handle for the next month. After the snack try and do some new exercise. A sport will be the best. Anything, softball, soccer, running, basketball etc...anything. Three things will happen if you do a sport for an hour. 1. Your body will get an exercise in(duh right, lol) 2.you will experience a natural high if you push yourself hard enough 3. If you are doing something you enjoy you will get more energy solely based on the fact that your brain will really enjoy doing that sport.

Good luck, hope this helped. You will gain energy, i promise.
