Energy

Just curious on everyones 'journey', when did you get your energy back?  I did a load of laundry and thought I ran a marathon.  Everything feels so exurting!  I am doing the Thomas Recipe so I am sure that can help but no appetite makes you weak too.  Just curious wbout everyone.

It's three weeks for me today and I still struggle with my energy.  I had a lot of trouble sleeping in the beginning and I just started to sleep a little more soundly so my energy is now creeping back.  But I hear you about the laundry.  At least you did a load!  I would sit on the couch after I put my son to bed and I just couldn't get back up.  Laundry, dishes, cleaning needed to be done but it just didn't.

Just give yourself some time, and give yourself a break.  If the house gets a little dirty or the dishes don't get done until morning, that's ok.  Your energy will return and so will your appetite (unfortunately).  I've been eating myself silly the last week or so but that's calming down as well.

Hang in there.  It really does get better.  Just take it day by day and if you don't have energy one day, just let yourself rest.  Your body is healing.  Good luck!

It took me about 2 weeks to get about 90% energy back. Maybe 3 weeks to be 100%. I did exercise everyday during my withdrawals though. I've heard some people say theirs took much longer. The more you get that blood flowing the better. Best of luck to you!
