Extreme fatigue common with oxy withdrawal?

Good evening all.  Brief re-cap I am a mom of an oxy user, and trying to get her thru the withdrawals.    She has a councelor for her addiction and a psychiatrist for mental and medical support.  She was on day 15, relapsed  and used oxy.  It has been 9 days since she used    so a total of 24 with one relapse.   Not sure how to count the days!  The past nine have been a picnic compared to the initial 2 weeks of withdrawal hell,  other than the incredible disappointment when she used. (I continue to drug test)   I regained my rational-self after the disappointment of her relapse,  and also realizing that was not so uncommon.   The cravings and nightly dreams of using are getting better.(Which she told me was worse than the actual withdrawal symptoms, because she wanted to use so much)  The question I have is she is so lethargic,  she said she has never felt so tired in her life.  She has always been very active, however since she began this process she is completely different.   She is 21, good physical health,  other than being an addict, (if that even makes sense!)  but I have never seen her so pale and quiet   and incredibly tired.  Is this normal?  Any input would be greatly appreciated.  Perhaps I should have her see her family doc?    And mom that I am, I am making sure she is getting the diet, liquids and vitamins that are recommended to ease the withdrawal symptoms.   The prescriptions she was given by the phyciatrist she stop taking aprox 7 days ago, per his instructions at her last appt.   I don't know and am not finding much info on severe fatigue in relation to oxy withdrawal.  Or is this   depression?  Thank you for your  time  and any advise or input is so very appreciated.

Also-she doesn't have to click into any post that you've written, she can just start new by herself.we don't even have to know she is the same person that you are talking about...

I'm 45 days clean from Oxy's and still dealing with low motivation and sometimes still dealing with deression. As long as her doctors are aware of what she's going through then I'm sure they're doing all they can for her.
You're doing a wonderful job at giving her support and yet watching out for her with regards to using again. Unfortunately relapse is a very real part to recovery so don't let that discourage you. She will make a couple of mistakes but the important thing is that she will continue to get back off and work on her recovery. Many blessings to you and you're doing an excellent job with her!

Thank you for your comments.  I absolutely agree with you that it would be great if she were to come to the forum as I have suggested numerous times.   She keeps saying maybe....  She knows that I have been here since the beginning to get as much information as possible,  and she doesnt want to read what I have written.  I know that she has to take responsibility for her sobriety,   and no one else can do it for her,  I truly do understand that.   She is attending NA mtgs.   the addiction councelor she  found and was seeing prior to telling us what was really going on.    I am walking that fine line between  being a mom to help her in anyway I can vs. being an enabler.    Thank you again for your input,  I really appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.

Fatigue was my biggest comlaint when i want off vics and oxy. depression too, if she is taking all the recommended supplements, i think like worried does, and i know that exercise can help tremendously. she shouldn't need a different dr-the two she already has should be able to help her-sounds like you just need to stress to them what is going on with her. Maybe it would help to write down specifics and present them to the dr.  i'll be praying for you both and keep up the good work and support.  Can you get her to come on the forum to post whats going on from her point of view? it would probably help her the most to take responsibility for her recovery if she is not already...

Everyone is different but fatigue has been my major complaint since withdrawal 3 months ago from hydrocodone.....it is getting better and I take tons of supplements recommended in the health pages...it is part of the process for many but depression can not be ruled out so u need to take her to see her doctor if it does not clear an AD/anti-depressent may be indicated...exercise helps the fatigue more than anything for me...and time
