Well guys for a 71 yr old woman I'm pretty tough!!! My hubby put some shelves in my storage building and wanted me to check it out. We haven't had any rain so the pasture has cracks big enough to fall into. And I did!!  twisted my knee a little bit and jammed my back a little but I got right up and kept on going!! Back is a little sore but other than that I'm fine!! If I was still on the pills I would be dying.or think I was. LOL What a great life it is to be free of the pills, so for all the new people, hang in there. It only gets better!!

From 67 year old ~> to 71 year old: if you can take a fall like that and get right back up doing what you were doing, your doing wonderful!!!

YOU are an inspiration! I only hope I can say and do the things you do when I reach that age. My grandpa always said "getting old isn't for sissies"...(not that you're old...but you have a few years on me anyway). I sometimes can't find the energy to even walk to the end of the lane to my mailbox...even after 15 months off methadone...so for what you do now, I give you props! Keep doing what you're doing, because it's working, and not only that, but you give motivation to new ones starting this journey. You rock!!

I have to agree with you Tooter, life is beautiful with out the opiates, I had a long time addiction that I kicked with the help of this site, it is doable, easier when you make up your mind you had enough.

OH TOOTER!! You have had your issues have you not?? I am very proud of you and the time you have in now..YOU have come along way Baybe!!
I sure do pray you will be OK, and that nothing comes around hurting days later..I have faith in you that you will just be fine..You are one tough cookie. lol
