Food Poisoning????

Has anyone ever had food poisoning?? If so can you tell me if w/d's are worse than that? Thanks

I am wondering if anyone knows much about prlonged exposure to camflopybacter (food poisoning) I was diagnosed after christmas but was not given medication I later got a Ct scan which showed it had attached itself and was growing where my large intestine meets my lower intestine. I was given medication but am still in pain even a month after, I am still puking and have not had a solid bowel movement in over two months. I am at my wits end and don't know what to do. I have started feeling very weak, I have extreme anxiety and my joints have started to get really stiff so bad sometimes I can barely keep my legs going.

I'm pretty sure with food poisining, you don't get the cravings for more bad food. Or the depression. But you can do this, you'll get thru it and feel better real soon. Stay strong and hang in there. keep posting, we're all here for you.

Big hugs to you. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. I know how scared you are and I wish I could take any pain or anxiety you get away. Just know you have people out here who care and are here to support you. You ARE going to be ok and there is light at the other end of the tunnel. It will be tough physically and psychologically. I have never had the flu, so the one thing I did have was the food poisoning & would not wish it on my worst enemy! I was trying to get an idea of what I'm gonna go through. When I had the food poisoning, I couldn't move for 2 days!!! I am not the kind of person who throws-up (not even when I was pregnant), but lemme tell ya....I had it coming out both ends & didn't even have the strength to make it to the bathroom. IT WAS AWFUL!!!! Well anyway, I gave my Husband the rest of the pills so I am now officially TERRIFIED!!!!

That is a very difficult question to answer and there really is no infinitive answer because it greatly values on the toxicity levels of both. The type of bacteria in the food and your body's response to it and also the type of meds you were on,dose and length of use, your body's metabolism and your own relative response. personally I felt worse, a lot worse detoxing. However it matters a great deal on your metabolism and sex and age factor in that as well.I am repeating acck

I have had it twice...funny you should say that. Believe me, the food poising was worse..by all means.
