Frustrated

i am on day 4 of detox from vicodin about 45mg a day for 2 years and it seems like everyday i think im starting to feel better only to feel like **** again a few hours later...i slept for 3 hours last night woke up at 6 am and felt pretty good actually...i was excited and ate something which has been a problem...i fell back asleep for a couple hours around 9 and now im feeling awful again.  i threw up some yellow stuff and had chills and brain shivers again..i also started taking 10 mg of celexa the day i quit vicodin and i wondered if it could be a mix of the withdrawal and side effects of the celexa...i just wondered if anyone else experienced the good hours and awful most of the time of phases during withdrawal or not????? thanks for listenin

I know about that celexa. That was the only one I could talorate the side effects from. And when I stated taking it. I also had those head chills. And my hands and feet get those tingles like they are asleep. So some of it could be that. Have you ever taken it before? I can not go over 20mgs. The side effects are to much for me...
   Good luck with it....
And best of luck to you..

You are right about where you should be. I know it sucks, but hang in there. It will start to get better each day. Are you taking any of the aminos for mood? They really have saved me!! It truly will start to get better!! I promise! You are doing great and check into the Aminos in the health pages here.

CONGRATS on DAY 4...you're right where you're suppose to be...all that is normal and should start easing up...but you may have symptoms off and on for a week or more...sleep and energy are the last to come back...and that can take weeks...everyone is different. Are you taking vitamins?

GOOD LUCK and KEEP POSTING!!

Being on day 4 you are close to being on the downhill side of the physical aspect. You will have some ups and downs. You will eventually have less downs and more ups in the upcoming days. Just keep going strong! You are doing a great job! It just takes some time for our bodies to heal. Like toxic said, you're right where you are suppose to be. It will get better! Tomorrow is a new day and hopefully a better one for you. Day 5 was the turning point for me. Hang in there!
