Thanks for y'all's help I can't tell you how much better I feel to just talk people that going through this or has been through this I live in a very small town with no after resources avail so I'm hoping to stick to this group like glue lol !!! Prayers plz god bless !!!
benzo's were never my thing so it worked fine for me when I was waning off of long term narcotic pain relievers following major surgery. I think maybe mine was classified as a physical dependence versus an addiction. I've also had to be on Norco 10's for a few months at a time for joint issues from Lupus Flares and withdrawed cold turkey. It wasn't too bad I knew that my pain levels would be higher the first few days and I drank a bunch of water and slept it off. I felt great by day 3. I know its not the same for everyone
Many Drs are using the Gabapentin, Clonidine (bp med) and a Muscle relaxer.
However most of use just went all natural. There are some vit/min that will somewhat ease this, but they do take time to kick in.
If you have this go ahead and use it, but only for a SHORT time or you will have yet another Addiction to deal with..I would go and talk to the DR because I know mine will not give a Benzo out and I have heard that the Dr that prescribes the Subs will not either. They will only give you the 3 I described.Well I have over or in 20months so I do not need a Benzo now..hahaha!
I wish you the best and do give this TIME to balance all out..It does not happen over night but it will happen..Good Luck!
Also do not forget that the detox is the easy part, (yes it su*ks) but staying clean is what takes the cake..Try to get some out side aftercare..Meetings and such!
Bless
