HELP WITH HYDROCODONE ADDICTION PLEASE!?

Hi I NEED HELP with  my addiction to hydrocodone.I have been taking loritab 10 s  for 2 years now and have been through HELL!  I have lost so much in the process of it all.I am pregnant and want to quit for the health and safety of my baby. I have gone through detox several times but, no longer than a few days. I t so hard that anxiety,mental and body aches are imposssible to ignore.The depression ***** knowing that you have nothing to wake up to.I base evrything i do off of loritab.I feel like i cant do it without something to wean myself off . I havnt told  my doctor because i am afraid they will deem me as a bad mother and recently they questioned why i had hydrocodone in my system but no one prescribed me any .I have been in 3 car accidents and on the verge of scoliocis. i have severe back pain. I need help ,suggestions any hope for the sake of my two kids and myself .I want to be truly happy without relying on some pill to even get up in the morning.

wow congrats on your success! how long have you been taking pills and what did you do for support any natural remedies?

No,I didn't take any drugs while pregnant. But,I sure know the complications it can cause in your life when you do. You need to get some help with this.  I say this from the heart: Please tell your doctor. That's where you'll get the best help. Also,be honest with your husband/partner. You'll need a lot of support.

I know how you feel. I took hydrocodone while I was pregnant and I wish I would have said something to my doctor but I kept it to myself. Talk to your doctor and find out what they recommend! I wish you the best and congrats on your baby!!!

IBK has told you:  You HAVE to tell your OB and follow his advice. It's a serious situation because you are pregnant.  You are afraid that they'll think you're a bad mother
and that they'll judge you??  Is that ALL you're afraid of?

Never suggest that a pregnant woman go thru ct withdrawal from opiates...please! It can be very harmful to the unborn child.

Janet, Please do not suggest that someone who is pregnant take Suboxone. There are not enough studies out there on taking Suboxone during pregnancy,for one, and two, she needs to see her doctor. Thank you.

I wish we had that magical answer for you and could take your pain away. I am so addicted to vic 10's and somas I have fought it all my life and yes I know how bad the withdrawals can be. I tried and tried to get and stay clean, so finally on Monday I got my *** in the car and drove to a suboxone clinic got my suboxone and since Monday afternoon, I feel great. All those yrs fighting that ugly monster and I decided I am going to win. YOU can to, you have a new beautiful child and gift from God inside you. I am not judging you at all. It's that ugly ugly thing we can't stay away from.

You need to speak with your OBGYN and get honest. Not telling them is worse.

You should NOT go cold turkey while pregnant. Please speak with your doctor and have them either set you up on a taper plan or have them tell you whether or not you should continue on it..whatever it is, listen to the doctor.

I hope everything works out for you and the baby.
