you have to REALLY want it. i will tell you that.
i went through fentanyl detox 2 weeks ago today, oh my, the WORST withdrawal i have ever experienced. i still have 2 patches in my drawer and could have ended the pain of withdrawal at any time, but i really wanted this so it didn't tempt me at all.
norco withdrawal is really a cakewalk compared to other meds.
the worst of it being day 2 and 3. the mental part lasts much, much longer and the cravings really never go away, but the energy and other stuff should go away in about 2 weeks.
Hey honey you sound just like I did about six months ago. I can tell you what a different life I have now! No more chasing, counting being a person you dont want to be. I wasted a lot of years on pills! But it has sooooo been worth it! I HAVE GROWN SO MUCH! I am free of pills and am so grateful. You can be this way in six months. You have made a wise decision posting this. It gets slow around here sometimes so for support read others stories by looking at profiles!
Hi! I was taking almost exactly what you are taking. The way you feel is how all of us feel/felt. Totally fed up and sick of ourselves. Everyone is terrified of wds. Unfortunately, we just can't get around detox. We gotta go thru it. The anticipation of it really psyches people out. You may know to follow the Thomas recipe to the letter for detox.
If you have access to pain meds, you are gonna have a really rough time. You gotta protect yourself when it comes to this. Tell your family you want off of these and you can't have any around you. I'm sure you didn't start off taking 12 per day so if you keep going you'll just have more of the same. You don't wanna start again in 2 years having to get off 25 or 30 a day. 5 to 10 days sacrifice is worth getting free, right?
Please keep posting. We will walk you thru (like Defco said!)
I was up to 10 a day. I knew it would only get worse and I was just borrowing time. I had to make the jump.
I posted here a lot during my detox and found a lot of support! The advice some people gave was life saving.
Good luck, keep posting!
