Gnarly, I've been taking about 12 a day now for months. If I quit CT the worst would be over in maybe 5 days? I would rather not prolong the misery. Thank you for replying!
HI if your at 10 to 12 day 60 not enough to taper with you go down slowlly I wissh I could be specific pending no helth problems I know how to do it but its ageists the rules just know if you do decide to taper it goining to be a couple of mo to get you down from where your at
there are pros and cons of both ways if you just jump in about 4 or 5 days its over if you taper its 2 mo of feeling like crap your final wont be as bad but it takes a lot of will power and perseverance to do it.....you have to be disciplined enough to take just the amount the taper calls for and if the next day your dope sick you cant take more to feel better ....its a ketch 22 we will support you in whatever way you decide keep posting for support and let us know what you want to do good luck and God bless Gnarly
I did ask my Dr. He told me basically this wasn't his area of expertise, he's an orthopedic surgeon. I'm scheduled to see my GP next week but by then I might easily have used up what I have. I have 60 percs at the moment. I had been taking 12 a day and managed to get to 10 a day but that just isn't going to get it done. I waited nearly 24hrs without using any but even with Imodium and some of the aminos I was a mess. I even got nauseous and it was just 24 hrs. I think this might be worse than I had thought originally.
If you have a script you should ask the doctor who prescribed it.they are the one who really needs to do it. Contact them early tomorrow. You should have no problems with a taper if you have a full script. Many people find a taper plan very hard to stick with especially if you hold your own pills. Do you have any therapy, counselors, support groups set up for after your detox? This is important to continue a successful recovery.
Blessings to you
Debbie
