Be really careful with Tylenol as it can cause really severe liver damage, and very quickly. (Can google Tylenol/acetaminophen and liver damage). This is especially true if you have an already compromised liver from drugs/alcohol, or having taken narcotics or opiates that are mixed with acetaminophen or apap in the past. Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin) is much safer for your liver. So is Aleve which is an NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory). Might be better to switch between an ibuprofen and an NSAID than with Tylenol..
I use to get them worse when taking Vicodin . Norco. Dehydrated I think. Horrible ones. Now I don't get them. Amazing. And I was always with migraines, before norco. They helped at first, but then they made them worse. Weird!
Anyone think it might be wise to go back and forth between analgesics? Ibuprofen then Tylenol then Naproxen or something like that? I think I learned once that rebound headaches can occur with persistent treatment of the same kind. I had a friend who suffered and I could have sworn she told me that.
I've been taking alot of ibuprofen and tension headaches???? Is that why sometimes my head feels really tight etc...
I had horrible tension headaches for about a month. I still get them ocassionaly but nothing like the first month, so it does get better. Excedrin and a cold rag on my head worked best for me. I hope you get to feeling better.
Yeah I've been coughing up alot of mucus....
Can you get a massage or at least lay on a hard foam roll and stretch out your neck some. I think lots of the head pain comes from us tensing our neck muscles while detoxing and also the extra fluid that is draining from our sinuses. I promise this will pass. Hang in there 17 days is incredible!
Well I was a little off about the daysso today is day 17 off everything.
I have headaches mostly in the lower left part of my skull on y neck also
UGHHHH, Hated those headaches. Mine was behind the eyes and back of the skull by the neck. Drink, drink , drink lots of fluid. Take some advil and put warm moist wet towels over your eyes while resting. Also ice on the neck and forehead will help. What day post pills are you? I found day 9 the headaches softened.
