Help please. Day 6 of opiate withdrawal.

Hello all. I would just like to say I'm on day 6 of opiate withdrawal. A little back ground I'm 26 female who needs to use daily. Ive been addicted to any kind of opiate for the last 4 years. I Bang (IV) anything from oxy, methadone, morphine, and heroine anything that I can get my hands on for the day. I've tried to quit numerous times over the last year but fail every time. I'm sick of pawning my precious items being broke everyday waking up feeling like **** and only caring about my next fix. I never thought I would grow up and be a drug addict. I don't really have a support system which is why I am here. My friends and family have no idea so rehab is not an option also I have a really good job that would let me go if they knew I had a drug problem. So quitting on my own is the only way. Every time
I try to quit I make it to day 6 and cave :( ... I guess I'm just really looking for someone to talk to and give hope. I'm sorry if I am rambling and my post is hard to follow my head is all over the place and I have gotten very little sleep these last 6 days. I appreciate anyone's comments. Thank you. AA

Hi.
Just another quick note to offer support.  For me, the insomnia caused my headaches.  The first time I got 3-4 hours sleep my headache litened.  Unfortunately, insomnia is just part of the process.  U r really doing well.  Keep fighting, keep reading n keep posting.  9 days clean is coming!  That is HUGE!  Congratulations!

How much have you eaten lately?  Have you been drinking enough?

I know for me dehydration or hunger will give me a headache. If you haven't eaten for a while, try having some soup. See if it helps.

But I did have headaches when I was detoxing. They did go away eventually.

With the addition of the headaches I'm wondering if perhaps you shouldn't go see a doctor...just to be safe.  I would think by now your symptoms should be easing up...and none of us here want you to go back to using..which you may do just because you will get sick and tired of feeling sick.

Think about calling Dr. tomorrow morning okay?

The company and chocolate was a nice change. I still feel miserable as when I first started. The aches.. The pains.. The chills.. Hot n cold flashes.. Goosebumps.. Sneezing..stuffy/runny nose ... RLS.. Exhaustion ... Aniexty... Insomnia it's all still there .. Although the new thing is I've had this headache for at least the last 24 hrs and nothing I do will make it go away. I'm exhausted the no sleep is really taking a toll on me mentally and physically .. Hoping for any kind of a change soon. I need it. 12 1/2 hours till day 9. Still clean.
