Thank you Milky way! Mathew 21:22! Thank you!
I am unlike anyone that I have read here, rehab did me no good, I was an addict for at least a decade, heavy. Several attempts to quite made my addiction worse. I had read or heard that if you write something down that you are in dire need of help with, place it in the bible and pray on it that god will help. I did and I have never had a craving nor have gone back to smoking crack and I am now ll years clean. I won't say it will help you but mine is another story of positivity. Also I must say to many others that read these; someone who does not use has no understanding of an addicts disstress and by adding negitive words or actions only submerge a person further into the hell of addiction. Some what like Gay's were back in the day, scared of being known or seen. Stop the ignorace and leaned a help hand, not money but sometimes just an ear will do, not criticisim.
My heart goes out to you. I know exactly how you are feeling. I've done the same thing... My plan of action will be: Accupuncture at a local outpatient rehab, AA/NA meeting and reaching out to others in my community who struggle with addiction. You can do this! Don't give up :)
I agree with Sara. You need aftercare. You can stay clean by digging deep which is painful but worth it. And as addicts, it's our medicine!
Hang in there, one day at a time!
You can do anything you put your mind too. Get into some type of recovery care. You will learn the tools you need to stay clean.
So what are you going to do differently this time?
