Day 33 clean of Norco-yesssss!!!!

Hi guys just wanted to give a quick update on my recovery from Norco addiction. 33 days clean, and FEELING GREAT!!
I haven't posted a lot lately, but I just want to let all of you new to this site that you can get clean with the help of these outstanding people.
The key to my success so far is ensuring you are 100% committed, get rid of ALL pill sources, and stay busy.
I have stayed busy by starting a new daily workout routine, ( healing the body, as well as the mind) and changing my diet, pouring a lot of Super Foods into my body, rather than Super Pills.
I go through spurts just like all of you where, I'm tired, sore, sluggish, when my mind tries to trick me into wanting just ONE PILL, but I fight through, take the dog for a long walk, or just get away from the homestead for awhile.
I had one good success story, where I found a stray pill in the house and simply handed it over to my wondferful wife without batting an eye, IT FELT GREAT!
Stay strong all my brothers and sisters, and we will beat this.
Best wishes Bones

Hi Bones.....congrats on 33 Days!!

I don't remember you from the last time you were on on the forum...but then I was quite the mess for a lot of months...so that's not saying a lot...LOL

I read that you haven't really thought about any type of aftercare and said this site was all you used.  But then I read in this thread that you haven't been posting much lately....just "keeping busy".  Hope you'll re-think that cause as you know....the beast of addiction is lurking and lying and waiting when we least expect it.

Awesome job. Remember, the sugar detox or cutting sugar will make you tired and sluggish and somewhat nausaus too the first month. Decided to cut out most sugar but natural. No added sugars. It has been horrible at times too. But I can tell a big difference too all around.

Keep it up!!!
