How bad will my w/d be?

I've been taking 7.5/750 Vicodin (3/day) for 2 years for the treatment of fibromyalgia.  I want to stop taking it. I have 12 pills left.  I can taper off for a few days, then I won't refill.  I've been reading about the withdrawls of people who are taking 100 mg etc a day.  I'm not taking as much as the posts I've been reading. Can anyone tell me how bad my withdrawl will be?  Thank you in advance for any information you can give me.

You can do this! I was at a much higher dose and came through it fine. Worried is right, it feel like a bad flu for several days or more then it steadily improves. It's worth it to get your life back.

OK -- I read about the Thomas recipe, and the immodium, etc.  Thank you for your quick responses, guys!

Since your body has had opiates in its system for 2 years you will experience w.ds but they wont be as bad as you have read, although everyone is different. it truly becomes whether you want to quit or not. if you really want to quit and you convince yourself that you will feel under the weather for a period of time then you will be fine. there are lots of things to ease w/ds like aminos and vitamins and immodium for the stomach issues..but its nothing you cant handle..good luck

all i can say is it wont be near as bad as u think it will be...everyone imagines this horrific writhing on the floor while in convulsions...at ur dose u will feel a bit flu like and tired...maybe some ruuns, a little nausea and a little anxiety...some have trouble sleep ing for a few nights...small dose and 4 days u should be back on track..it is not as dreadful as u think for a small dose...u are at 30 mg a day...POSITIVE...think POSITIVE
