At 50 days ....and still fighting the same issues.....but from the above comments i guess i'm still in the normal "red zone" and can expect the body to be acting "off" it's lessened some days and nights.....others increased back again.....although not quite as severe as around the 37 day post.....but still......how long....how long........it's not just sad.....it's a story....guess this version's mine....be well all who happen across these words....at this moment.....be well.

I have been in that 1-2 month window a few times in the last 5 years myself. Never really felt that great. Couldn't put a finger on what it was, but like you said, just didn't "feel right".
However the truth is, the last 5  years, between being high on pills, drunk, hungover etc...I'm not even sure what "feeling right" is like anymore. I have not a clue.

Rather sad now that I think about it........

If you go to the top right of this page you will see the "Health Pages". There is information in there on PAWS (Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome).

Hang in there!

Oh, also, can you elaborate a little bit on what PAWS is?

Depending on the amount that you were taking...it can take awhile to get back to being totally normal. From the research that I have done, it takes a solid three weeks just for the brain to start producing a decent amount of endorphines again. 90 days is definately a good answer in general. I made it right around 65 days where everything seemed to be back in place with my energy, sleep and emotions.

You should spend some time researching "PAWS" and how it can play a part at the point you at in your recovery.

Good Luck

Hi,

A lot of it has to do with your metabolism, your age and overall general health. For us old folks it can be 90 days to start feeling better. Again, that is not everyone.

I suggest that since you used the pills for so long you get to your doctor and get a good check-up, complete with blood work. It never hurts.

I hope you feel better soon.
