How long id the withdraw from xanax

How long is the withdraw how xanax?ive been detoxing him for 4 days and he is doing better but now we are down to the half of pill part and I dont think it is helping him much.but he has 9 pills left and we have to make them last as long as we can.does anyone know what we can do? Switch to Klonopin or Valium, and taper from there. They stay in the system 3-4 times as long as X, and there's no seizure risk.

Standard medical protocol -- you can probably get it legit.

Good luck. This is the way to do it safely, and the w/ds will be okay somewhere down the line.

what mg. did you start with? how many times per day? don't move to quickly, the withdrawal symptons cold turkey or significant reduction will be very nasty and definitely unforgetable, i did that myself and learned the hard way. everyone reacts differently. i've been able to drop from 3-4 .25 per day to 1-rarely 2, .25 per day since sometime in Feb. fairly comfortably.

i see the light at the end of the tunnel,feeling like i'm getting my brain back, just began accupuncture for dizziness and relaxation and i'm loving it!, was given a supplement called calmdragon, it has been very helpful for the stretch run.

I tried ct off xanax a few years ago, and ended up with a grand mal seizure.  Just be careful.  Hope he's under a doctor's care while wd.
