Many of us found our pain actually got better after we had been off the pain meds. Your pain level may go up for a bit as your brain will play games with you in the beginning, that is rebound pain. I would jump now and get it over with. If your legs get to bad there is a product called Hylands that has helped alot of people. Worth a try. Keep posting sara
Thanks Gnarly_1!!! I've been very anxious with the restless leg thing that I've seen quite a few people talk about. Other than that I haven't been bad. At most I'm figuring I'll be sluggish and probably more anxious than usual but my hubby just got back from buying a big box of chamomile tea for me so I'm hoping that will help.
I have 2.5 mg perc (we cut it into quarters) sitting in my pill minder that I can have IF and only IF I need it. I'm going to do my best to make sure it is still in that pill minder when my husband comes home tomorrow night. For goodness sakes...I quit drinking just by deciding I was going to, over 30 years ago I quit cocaine just by deciding I was going to....you'd think I would have been able to do it with this. My husband says the most probable reason why is that I truly have been taking them for pain. So it isn't the dread of not having the pills...it is the dread of having the pain that is messing with my mind.
Wish me luck!!!
