I did it again!

So I have been off oxy's for 18 days and methadone for 6 days after taking the methadone for the first 13 days to try and outrun the withdrawals. Well i slipped up four days ago and took 10 mg of oxy to get past the rls which i couldnt take even with prescribed xanax. So yesterday nothing but last night i was exhausted and had real bad rls again so i found a 10 mg oxy which i thought i flushed in my bottle of xanax which i took :( Now my questions is in yalls expience how long dose the rls last? i can take the fatigue, sweats, depression and have help with the sleep with xanax but the RLS drives me  crazy expiernce on the RLS would be great!

you were very lucky then, Kittymom :) i had it in arms and legs for weeks.... not every day the same but i still remember those nights...really exhausting and crazy...some nights i went to the couch in the terrace because the cold made me feel better ...

The RLS last less than a week - I would say about day 4 or 5 your should notice a difference.  I am on day 19 today and I am sleeping better each day and have not had rls for a while now.   That was the worse thing about detoxing - the sleep situation - wanted to hang myself - but I got through it and it got better every day until now I feel a new kind of normalcy and all the bad stuff shall pass believe me - it is the little devil pills telling you you still need them - but you don't

reyna, people  here that have taken it , say that it helps with RLS, it is an homeopathic remedy ... maybe where you live there are some other homeopathic remedies or similar to hylands restful legs ....

Hi there, I too am going crazy with my rls, I want to rip my legs off and now its starting to go to my arms too. They dont sell Hylands resful legs where I live but you can order on the net, so if you do manage to get some please let me know if it works, it is making me so miserable its all I can think about, and making it very hard to get off the pills I am addicted to

are you taking the Hylands restful legs and the magnesium+calcium and potasium supplements ? eat bananas, drink tonic water, apple /orange juice....

if RLS is your achilles heel, you  would have to try everything , i would think :)

Ok I just need to tell myself this was a minor thing get in the tub and try and deal with the RLS. I know I can do this. Hot baths it is.

Yep use some epsom salt with the bath.......

Honestly now Sarah NONE. I can handle everything but the RLS. I have a huge garden tube so I am going to take hot baths before bed for a while to see if that helps. Did you say or was it someone else that episome salt helps?

How many more pills do you really have laying around?  Warm baths will help the RLS.
