Hey I started methodone three weeks ago at 30mgs and I've went up every seven days so I'm not on 50 and haven't had any problems at all but last night my ankles and the top of my feet swelled up bad I laid down it seemed to went down alot but once I woke and got on my feet it came back and the only meds I take is methodone and nerurotn now I haven't taken the nerurotn the whole time I been on the methodone but I took some yesterday and then it happened shortly after I took them could it be the two together doesn't mix well together or what the heck is it I've never had this before

It is me again I was thinking If you are dosing at a clinic do not let them bump you up too the higher mg's. There is a ceiling effect with Methadone. If you were taking 100mg It would be no different then the 50 you are on, one would at that point get high..
Clinics are in it for the money. If you were using opiates before then you were dealing with constipation, Jump on this right away for it is seriously going to block you up if you do not.. Read all you can about this drug For some it is better then using and has saved their lives but it comes with its own consequences as it seeps into our bones making it very difficult to get off of.. Hello PookieBear.Welcome to the Forum. Methadone causes water retention also make sure you start taking a stool softener and get some Miralax on board. Methadone causes Constipation and weight gain.. As far as the Neurontin
    dizziness,
    drowsiness,
    unsteadiness,
    memory loss,
    lack of coordination,
    difficulty speaking,
    viral infections,
    tremors,
    double vision,
    fever,
    unusual eye movements, and
    jerky movements.

Other side effects of Neurontin include mood or behavior changes, depression, or anxiety. I could find no swelling. Mixing the 2 for me would be scary.. 50mg of Methadone is a lot for pain management, the usual dose is 30mg. It is a very powerful drug and takes a few days to start working at its full potential. If you find yourself nodding when you sit down You are on too much It also causes  Respiratory Depression. Knowledge is everything with this drug..
