Most likely is RLS...did it just happen 1 night or more than 1?
i'm shaking my legs as i type right now... =)
It sounds like it to me! As for me though, I didn't have Restless legs, I had it in my pelvic area, if that makes any sense. I felt the need to stretch constantly, and felt like I needed to have an orgasm over and over and over. Believe me, the need to have an orgasm is usually fun, but NOT during WD's!! LOL!!!
My husband only mentioned one night that I did this. I don't seem to have anything wrong with my legs now other than the foot that I have RSD in.
Thanks for your response.

i usually get it in my arms always feel the need to move them for the 1st day or so and it ***** horrid
hi i am on day 3 of w/d i am on clonidine to help withdrawls i started taking hymans rls fron cvs and i never got the rls but the lightning bolts did go threw my hands and arms tha 1st nite but i will stand behind hymans rls for sure because i hate rls i want to kill myself when i get rls so i was so happy for hymans rls
Its probably best described as a general discomfort of the muscles and bones in your legs....very large muscles and bones in your legs..anything from aching, twitching, shaking..mostly involuntary because your legs are so damn sore...it has been the bane of my existence for the past week...only thing keeping me from sleep now I think.
Good Luck
Reason i asked was it just the 1 night, could've been a bad dream...with WDs, the dreams are SOOOO vivid, so you could've been having a bad dream (or it could've been the RLS)...good news for you is you are not experiencing it anymore...
I think for those that experience RLS during WDs cant seem to get their legs to stop shaking....whats even harder for me is that even before these opiods and WDs, i always shook my legs (awake, in bed, etc), so this is a double whammy for me... :)
Oh well, i'd rather deal with RLS than deal with counting my pills to make sure i'm going to have enough when my friends come to visit...;)
Count your blessings. I never had any RLS , but I have heard it can be pretty awful. So like I said count your blessings .......U are doing GREAT.....Congrats!!!!
Luv,
Nauty..........
If it was really RLS you would know! It's a hard thing to deal with. It is tough to deal with. Virtually impossible for me to get sleep when it comes. Its a hard feeling to describe. Torture in a mild form is the best definition.

Thats funny you mentioned the orgasm thing.....I thought it was just me! Ha thats funny and is annoying.
God, you are so correct. Ive tried everything during the night. Nuff said!
RLS....OMG...during my wds....they were horrible...I had them for 3 or 4 nights...It felt like bugs crawling under my skin...I felt the need to move my legs all of the time...NO SLEEP....you are soooo lucky if you dont have RLS...congrats...
Thanks so much some days I don't feel like I am doing so great, there are days I WANT a pill so bad, then I have days its ok.
This is really tough for all of us.
