I hear a lot of you speak of RLS and I have a question?

I have seen so many speak of having the RLS during the WD's, and the first couple of days of my bad WD's my husband said I kicked my legs a lot..........is that what it is RLS???

It sounds like it to me! As for me though, I didn't have Restless legs, I had it in my pelvic area, if that makes any sense. I felt the need to stretch constantly, and felt like I needed to have an orgasm over and over and over. Believe me, the need to have an orgasm is usually fun, but NOT during WD's!! LOL!!!

My husband only mentioned one night that I did this. I don't seem to have anything wrong with my legs now other than the foot that I have RSD in.

Thanks for your response.

Its probably best described as a general discomfort of the muscles and bones in your legs....very large muscles and bones in your legs..anything from aching, twitching, shaking..mostly involuntary because your legs are so damn sore...it has been the bane of my existence for the past week...only thing keeping me from sleep now I think.

Good Luck

Reason i asked was it just the 1 night, could've been a bad dream...with WDs, the dreams are SOOOO vivid, so you could've been having a bad dream (or it could've been the RLS)...good news for you is you are not experiencing it anymore...

I think for those that experience RLS during WDs cant seem to get their legs to stop shaking....whats even harder for me is that even before these opiods and WDs, i always shook my legs (awake, in bed, etc), so this is a double whammy for me... :)

Oh well, i'd rather deal with RLS than deal with counting my pills to make sure i'm going to have enough when my friends come to visit...;)

If it was really RLS you would know! It's a hard thing to deal with. It is tough to deal with. Virtually impossible for me to get sleep when it comes. Its a hard feeling to describe. Torture in a mild form is the best definition.
