I really hate pills...

Hi everyone. I just really need to post something cuz I'm going crazy! I have a problem with Tramadol and I cant seem to get off it. I ran out yesterday and my dr. is not in. I have Tylenol 3. Will that ease the withdrawals until I can get ahold of my dr. to put me on a taper plan? Also I'd like to know if the withdrawl ease they advertise works?? I know that switching one drug for another is really bad, but I'm so miserble! My legs are so restless, it feels like there are a million red fire ants crawling around in my legs and I really dont know how much more I can take!! Thanks!

Just to let you all know I have been taking the tram for about 3 years now, and it was orignally perscribed for Fibro. any advice would be awesome! Thanks

No need to be embarrassed here!  I'm glad you're getting off this train though...There's a huge seizure threat at those doses.

Have you eaten today?  You need to!  And drink plenty of fluids like water, gatorade, juices.

Do you have Epsom Salts? If not, get some at Walgreen's or any grocery store. It's cheap. Pour it in a hot bath and soak in it. I promise you'll feel wonderful and it helps those legs!   If you have anything in the house that contains magnesium and potassium, take it!  Buy a good chelated cal/mag supplement when you get the Epsom.

There are a few members who have had an intimate relationship with Tram. One is "ImDONENoMore"...she'll post to you but I'm sure she's sleeping now. I'll send her a message.

What else? Can you sleep?

Personally I would stay away from the T3's ....  I know its hard and you feel like the withdrawals will never end but they do and most likely, if you don't take the T3's you will all ready start feeling better before you can get your script for tramadol.....either way, whether you taper off or not, you will still have withdrawals.....

For your crazy legs and stiffness, take a luke warm bath....its orgasmic while going through withdrawals and its as if you can feel the creepy crawlys exit your body through your finger tips and toes...... For sleep, go to your local drug store and buy a natural health product called Melatonin....one a night will help you rest.... also keep posting and talking with others here because they will help you any way they can, they won't judge you and they want you to succeed.... GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Oh and is there any other way to relieve the restless legs, because honestly that is the very worse symptom!! Anything at all? Nothing is working, I even have Mirapex... and nothing...

Thank you :) I have a bad tram habit, and like alot of people when the dose I was taking didnt work, I upped myself. I guess I just didnt realize how much harm I was doing. I'm almost embarrassed to say, but I take between 12-18 a day...

Yes, the T3's will help.  That said, it's a great idea to get a taper plan and wean off the tram. Tapering can be difficult but I recommend it because it's less stressful on the body as opposed to CT. How much tram do you take per day?

Withdrawal Ease is just a money maker. You can accomplish the same thing by using Thomas's recipe. It's in the health pages. Basically, it's all about feeding your body with vitamins and minerals. Opiates just suck the nutrients right out of our bodies!

For now, take what you have and get in a hot tub and soak. You'll feel better.

Keep posting!
