I think my days of getting along on norco are over

I'm so scared, im a single mom of 2 children a professional in the medical field. Today i attempted to get a prescription filled with a forged rx from my work. As I was waiting the said they needed to verify with the doctor. I got up and left. Since then my job called me...im havent called back yet.

The withdrawal is already setting in and this feeling is exactly why I did what I did.

Is my life over? When will I be arrested. I have no criminal record at all. I'm afraid I'm going to lose custody of my children.

Just wanted to check in with you before heading to bed.  I agree with Rissa....start a new post tomorrow...a new post, a new start, a new day!  Let's start with that and go from there.

Many, many hugs to you!

Well today's the day you expected to get the text that your refill was ready...did you get a text?  Is there some reason you are unwilling to cancel the refill?  (if they even fill it after the fraud debacle)?

If we are truly done.....we have no need for a safety net~
But we have a HUGE need for some recovery support~

Thank you everyone...im on day 10. When thinking of picking up the rx...all I can think about is the days of absolute darkness in experiencing. I have no intention of picking it up at all. I just want to feel normal so bad. I'm feeling a little stronger today...i ate an actual sandwich yesterday...i know I'm dehydrated...so that's my focus today. Thank you for you continued support it means the world to me. Every comment helps me so much to get thru another day.

I have to disagree with the statement that you will not be able to get narcotics again. There will be times in ppls lives that they are needed. Surgeries, broken bones, accident injuries and so forth. So don't let that frighten you. That doesn't mean I think you should try to go get that prescription, personally, I think you should call the pharmacy and cancel it on your own. That way the temptation isn't there.

You've gotten lucky this time and believe it or not, you've received a HUGE blessing. You are getting through this one day at a time, and doing pretty well I might add. The anxiety will subside and life will go back to normal. :)

Just keep hanging in there friend!! You can do it :)
