I remeber my anxiety attacks when I quit cocaine and they were pure evil - it lasted about a month and no drug is worth this feeling.

My friend who is a Nurse suggested that I do the following and it really helped me:

1) Put on some clam music and focus on it
2) Breath slowly
3) Close the curtains

It took me about 4 attempts but once I managed to focus on the music it helped reduce the feelings of panic.

I prefer natural remedies too, so if you find something good, bunco, please do share. My anxiety is trying to creep back in. I know why, and there's nothing I can do about the why. Daddy2, you aren't alone in this.

I am at 95 days and my anxiety is still high......apparently part of the healing process.

I am off to a homeopathic place to find natural things to help....I will post what I find.

What I have been doing is exercising and a lot of deep breathing!!  I am on colonopin but it does not help.

For me the anxiety was around for a month.....then gone.....now back for the last 2 weeks.  I just keep telling myself....this too shall pass!

Will be back with actual help later!!

Are you prescribed the bupropion?  You need to take it regularly and it takes 2 to 4 week for it to kick in.  You can't just take it when you are feeling anxious.  Please let us know how you are feeling.

I found anxiety to be the worst part of withdrawals.  Try slow breathing, in through your nose and out through your mouth.  Also if you can eat a little bit, something healthy.  It just seems to calm me down putting something healthy in my body.  Just keep telling yourself to relax while you are breathing.  The sun is coming up and things will look brighter.
Keep posting.
