Wanting to get and stay clean!

I have been on vicoden for going on 3 years now.  I would take 20 to 30 pills a day. I have just started soboxon for the 3rd time around and really need support. I think the support that was lacking all the other times is what made me go back to the pills.   I have no will power! So i guess I dont really have a question but am looking for people to talk to for support. I dont have this at home due to the fact that few people know I'm taking the pills and the ones that know are still on them and dont want to stop taking them with me. well, I guess I do have a few questions. Anyone taking soboxon and how is it working for you? What is the best way to take it?

No I am not going to any aftercare. My doctor never brought that up so I dont really know where to go. I will have to ask him about it.  The reason I asked about the best way to take it is because in my personal opinion he has me on too much. If I take what he perscribed, which is 8mg twice a day I feel so horrible all day. And I've talked to him about it before and he said my body will get use to it. I dont like how I feel when Im on that much and I feel so much better on less. He also wants me to take it first thing in the morning and alot of the time I feel fine for hours after getting up and feel I dont need it right away. If I take it when I first get up I feel like **** all day. So right now Im taking 4mg when I need it, maybe twice a day. Yesterday I only took 4mg and felt fine all day. And I was up for 4 hours before I took that dose. Im also very afraid to get addicted to that and being on it long term. I have a friend who has been on it for 2 years now. I dont want to be like that. He's addicted. The other times I was on sob I did as the doctor ordered and I relapsed. I know Im not a doc but Ijust dont want to feel ill all day and I dont want to be addicted. And I know the more I take the harder it will be coming off it.

Thank you for the info.

I am not taking Sub, but I did take it briefly back in Feb. 09 for only 25 days.  I used it to
help get off of Heavy Oxy use.  The only way to take the Sub is by the doctors orders, no exceptions.  Good luck on kicking your habbit.  Do your homework and be ready when you decide to stop the Sub, it can be a little tricky.  There is willpower in you, you
just have to access it.  When you really want to do or to stop something, you will find the willpower you need.  Its there.  Just playing possum.
