So when does the restless legs go away. I'm now on my third day and I feel pretty good other then im dehydrated from not eating or drinking anything. I got me some chia erbal tea and I just ate some potatoes and green beens.. I'm just worried about how the night will be when I try to sleep. I might end up going to the ER to get some fluids.
Jim, I'm glad you're feeling better, and glad the clonidine helped so much. I stayed on it for a week and began to taper down from it. It's not addictive, but needs to be weaned off of to keep from having rebound hypertension.
during the real shaky and painful nights - hot baths REALLY helped me! i would soak in burning hot water at least 6 times a day (3 or 4 of those at night).....drink an herbal tea, read and even though i would have spasms in bed.....i felt SO much better!!!

GA guy can probably be more specific. All I know is much of Saturday and all day Sunday I felt like death warmed over. I dragged myself to the ER and was able to get some ($5 with my ins)...and I took 1 about 8PM or so...by 9-930 I was posting on here last night about how much better I felt. I've taken 2 thus far today (per schedule) and I have no withdrawl symptoms whatsoever, other than I'm tired and a little achy. I can handle that...I'm telling you, last night I felt 50-75% better than I did earlier in the day...it's only been 41 hours since my last pill and I've got a while to go..but I sure feel
a heck of a lot better.
Jim
What symptoms does it help with?
That you're having opiate withdrawal symptoms and want clonidine to help with the symptoms.
