Hi Tim,

I went through a detox a couple of years ago for suboxone and received daily injections of naltrexone to knock the opiates off the brain.  I was also on other mess to help keep me comfortable, but if you are receiving injections for opiates, it will make you feel agitated for a good hour or so.

After my detox, I got a naltrexone implant.  It caused extreme anxiety until the implant dissolved.  I have heard of using naltrexone pills and injections for alcohol abuse.  If this is what you are using it for, you probably could still have some of the same side effects.  When i was going through all my trouble with anxiety I did a lot of research and even talked with my doctor and he said that someeople do have anxiety, but in his experience he has seen very few.  If you are getting this through a doctor, k would speak to them, your dose could be too high or there could be other issues.  Best of luck to you.
