How do I know if I'm getting addicted?

Hi everyone,
My situation is a little weird. I am a 21 year old female college student. I have been treated for bipolar disorder and am stable on meds now. For years I have had horrible problems concentrating in class and generally my head feels like it's total chaos/I can't function like most people on a daily basis. I also have had severe anxiety and panic attacks for a long time. I have started using stimulants, mainly sudafed (pseudoephedrine) + some adderall because I thought they would help - and they have helped greatly. I don't feel high; in fact I feel *less* high than my normal weirdness. However when I take a break from them, I feel awful, depressed and incredibly anxious. It's hard for me to tell if that anxiety is something that would be occurring anyway, if my body simply got used to the drugs, or if I am on my way to addiction. I'm stressed out already about trying to graduate and this stress is just compounding on that, so I'd really appreciate some support & advice. Thank you!
