48 days but is something else wrong?

I have been off of 10 or more of hydrocodone 5/500 for 48 days and have posted on here before.  I have not been very active, but have been reading frequently.  I have been wanting to wait until I really start to feel better, but have not gotten there yet.

I am without a job still collecting long term disability and continue to feel lethargic and depressed.  I helped my friend move and have been trying to work to get my energy up, but I can hardly get out of bed and even though I have been trying to get out and do things it has not been getting any better.  Could this be from actual depression from what is going on in my life or is this still withdrawals from the pills?  I have thought about talking to a doctor about anti depressants or something because I just dont think I could work a full time job.  Just going to the store takes so much out of me.  I have heard that anti depressants can be bad, but does anyone have any advice?  I have tried vitamins, amino acids, sam-e, St. John's wort, and they really do not have any effect on me.  Thank you for any advice.

It wouldnt hurt to see a specialist regarding depression, especially if you are prone to depressive symptoms and/or you have a family history of depression.....
Im sure what you are feeling is a combo of depression and withdrawal, but it should be reviewed with a medical professional.....The goal is to help you function, and get out of bed and get a job, so anything that will help you accomplish this, is worth looking into

Is that on the good health pharmacy website?  I have found it, but want to make sure so that I do not get ripped off.

I would agree with worried, you are 1-1/2 months clean, but everyone is different. Some people need something else for pain or deppression. It all depends. But from what I have studied, a good 3 months seems to be the stabalizing point. But it wouldnt hurt to talk to a doctor that knows your situation. Keep you spirit up, you'll be okay!

God Bless,
Todd

I am not saying an anti-depressent would not help u..i not being a person who stays on ADs did get on wellbutrin/DOC for x-addicts..energy level floursihed..sleep problems were hard for me as it is a side effect fo well butrin///dopamine enhancement will do wonders right now due to ur brain has not caught up yet due to the outside enhancement form narcotics....wellbutrin is the A 1 choice, but tyrosine, phenylalanine. yohimbee, alpha dopa poppers, google it...Provigil helped me the most....illiegal without a scrip here but legal everywere  else like canada...good helath pharmacies is a great pace to get it ..it is a mood enhancer and increases dopamine....i love it and could not have worked wihtout it but it is not a drug u crave nor build a tolerence  to...safe and people use it to study with as it lacks the caffeince jitters

Thank you worried, so you do not think I should consider anti depressants at this time?  I just want to get back to where I was before all of this, but I just do not see how I am going to be able to go out and get a good job in this situation.  I have been taking college classes and can barely get through them.  I will have to get a full time job and take these classes and it just seems so impossible.  My deadline is coming up in a few months to get a good paying job for the bills and I am scared.

could be a combo but the detox off the pills is probably an important contributant....remember that and know it usually takes 3 months to pass..and that is with the supps and exercise..dont get down on urself...u r not the u u were earlier on...let ur brain heal/3 months to judge ur mental stats...right now is just not fair...u have taken away a mojor source of dopamine away from u brain...the body is incredible...it will adjust..give it 3 moths before u judge
