Intervention

I watched an episode of intervention the other night and the guy was clean from presciption pain pills. He said that the Dr. told him after being on them for awhile, your brain will not communicate with your lungs and you can just stop breathing at anytime, I did not know about this, is it true? Also I saw a show about a Medical Examiner who had a case of a lady who they thought had OD's on oxy's, there were 104 pills missing from her bottle, however there werent any found in her stomach, which the ME said there would be som pills there after taking that many. She had to do some blood tests to determine what had killed her and found out that she had taken about 5 oxy's, 5 hydro and 2 anti-depressants, she called this a lethal cocktail. THe woman had an 11 or 12  yr old daughter and her elderly mother who cried, she left us over a damn bottle of pills, its not worth it. It was so sad, and scary. Although I have not mixed any like this.

I too have mixed quite a number of cocktails in my days, benzos with oxycontin percocet vicoden and soma amongst others, sometimes to the point that I was scared if I fell asleep I may not wake...sad I know but now on suboxone and doing wonderful. The fact is that too much opiate will slow your respritory system down it is a central nervous system depressant as well are benzos which are commonly mixed together and even prescribed together and there are some combos that can in fact be deadly in the wrong doses..please everyone be careful!
