I just had to say, If you are going to college then you should be smart enough to KNOW BETTER than first of all to take a med that is not prescribed to you, and second of all, script or not, XANAX is bad for you too. It may lighten your anxiety for the moment but it doesn't cure it. When the meds wear off the anxiety is still there. AND mixing the 2 is a nightmare raring to happen!
Totally ditto what vicki said above.
You're playing with fire big time. You're abusing two VERY addictive medications, and trust us when we say that this will end up nowhere good. You're probably telling yourself, "Yeah, yeah, I can handle it, I only take it when I need to study, or when I need to sleep." You're displaying all of the signs of addiction, including watching your habit grow due to tolerance. It will continue to grow. There's no "controlling" abuse of drugs. What you're doing is essentially no different than buying meth or coke for a pick me up.
Like others said, what you do right NOW can make the difference between you going back to life as you know it....or moving forward to downward spiral of addiction, which will rob you of all of the good things in life.
I wish you the best....please remember that this is an addiction forum, and people here are struggling to get clean. If you want help with this, then you're in the right place, but if you want to continue to use, you're not. This is a life and death battle for people. Hopefully you understand that. Take care.
Oh dear...you're on a roller coaster and you need to get off right now! Adderall is harmful to you and will only increase your anxiety. This drug will change receptor sites in your brain and it can be permanent.
You need some help so find someone who you trust; a doctor would be best. You need to taper off both meds, one at a time, and seek out some counseling to help you learn motivational skills without drugs to induce energy.
You've got some thinking to do about making a plan. Believe me when I tell you, the decisions you make NOW will influence your entire future. Make a good one!
i would be careful girl your playing with fire air....addis are highly addictive and very hard to get off once you are hooked....try to cut that out as soon as possible....see your you are starting to crash and need that pick me up.....thats the body craving the addie.....i had a few friends have problems with this drug its an amphetamine basically legal meth just like oxy's are basically legal dope learn from others mistakes dont become one
