This kind of went by quickly. I mean, it seems like yesterday we were having "The Immodium and duct tape conversation" and you were making long shopping lists for other people on the forum.  Good times!!  lol

You've been tested, in the last 300 days, in every single way possible.  Remember the pills you found inside your socks??  Hilarious!  The best thing is that we can laugh about it all now although we did a lot of laughing then!

I know you never thought you would see this day and here it is...it's all good and I'm so proud of my friend.

HEY Lee Ann wow 300 days my time goes by fast its great to see your making it....I recall a few close calls but we all have them the main thing is you dident give in you pushed passed the cravings the depression and came out shining thanks for all the help on the forum your truly an asset you know a lot about a lot of different drugs where glad your part of the community I wish you all the best in your recovery may God bless you and your family abundantly it the new year your friend Mark

Wow!  Thank you everyone!  And Vicki must have done this before she started her journey across country this morning!!!

I've had a weird but wonderful 300 days!  Some of those days I spent questioning whether or not I was gonna make it!  Or if I even wanted to???  Sounds strange, but some days I have moments of romanticizing the life I left!  See, that life had a husband in it who was also an addict.  I left him, filed for divorce and got clean!!!  I loved him more than anything I could ever dream of, but if I didn't do that, one of us was going to die!  Long story short, he still uses.  I don't!  My odds of living are therefore greater than his.  I still love him in some way.  He's the father of my 8 year old and was my best friend for most of my life.  But....anyhow......back to reality!!!!  We are friends now, and I am happier and healthier than I ever have been!  He'll do it when he's ready I suppose.  

This doesn't take a high IQ or fancy rehab or money or poverty or anything else.  It just takes quite a bit of willingness and not being afraid of change.  OH.....and patience!!!

Yes, be glad if you missed the imodium/duct tape conversation!  It wasn't pretty!  Funny...but not pretty!!!

Am I the only one up??  Probably. Everyone else is smart!  I just couldn't sleep...I hate to fly in the winter so I'm probably anxious. I'll take a vitamin...with my coffee.
