Is efforex a good anti depression to use for depression or is it a addictive anchor?

Stay in tune with what your body is saying, as you adjust to the anti-depressants. When I first started, some made me edgy & or irritable. Don't put up with that. Let the Dr know right away.

alot of antis will make you drowsy when you first start on them.  it takes a few days for your system to get used to them.  that should settle down with time.  make sure that you start at the lowest dose and work your way up to the dose that you start feeling the best.

I went out today and got everything except L-theanine  now budy had it, GNC, vitamin world,wallmart. I would like to find holistic answers, I think the opiate problem is adding to it a lot,and living on the gulf coast Katrina was hell,I worked and finding dead bodies etc.
also last year I lost my sisterand my mother has had a hart attack then kidney faliure,also a gradmother died and a brother in law. and my job let me go for missing to much time ,and the anti depression meds made me drowse y. I pray an know this is going to be my year especially I have you as my support group.

This is why a Dr needs to be involved. It can take several tries with different ones to find what works for you.
Are you on any anti-depressants now?
If you are not, then look in my journals for Thomas Recipe. And also the one on amino-acids. Another supp that works is SamE 400mg. If it were me, I would try the natural route before the Rx route.

Thanks for the input, are there any other suggestion that is not so dangerous I tried lexapro but it made me dizzy, so I stopped it because being dizzy around machinery.

effexor can be quite effective for some people. it will take 3 weeks for the full effects. the caution with this particular antidepressant is the withdrawals can be horrific if not tapered very, very slowly.

Each anti depressant is different. Each person reacts differently to them. I highly recommend that you take with Dr.s orders.
