Clonodine for Subutex withdrawal??? Good or Bad?

Clonodine!!!????!!!!???  I have heard that this blood pressure medicine is quite effective in easing withdarwal symptoms without any significant adverse effect.  Is this true?  Can ANYONE tell me anything they know about clonodine????   I am trying to muscle through subutex withdrawal and I am on day (6)  and still feeling pretty rough.

It's something you should take under a doctors supervision. It's not a pill you take every few hours and you need to be sure about your current blood pressure.

Yes Clonodine is great in helping withdrawal symptoms. Just make very sure you don't have low blood pressure.  If a doctor is giving this to you take it as prescribed. If not you must use much caution. If taken long term you must be tapered off it. I don't remember why ....I think it could either make your blood pressure go up quickly or come down. sorry don't remember. If you use it for only 4-7 days I think you will be fine.  Hopefully someone will post that can remember. grrrrrrr .....memory is shot.
