you can do this , your amount is fairly low, now i am not sure about the sub thing, u may have some of that left, but will leave that for the ones who know about sub....

I was taking 15 10 mgs a day for about 3 yrs, and even at that amount 7 days was enough...PLEASE set your mind , and go for it....U might be surprised to how quickly this will pass at only 2 pills a day...Now if you don't now, u know you will just start taking more, then it will be worst!!

BEAT THIS pill, and keep telling yourself you are much stronger then that damn little pill, the mind is a powerfull thing
good luck

You can do this c/t on 2 perks a day. You should be able to go c/t and return to
work with no problem at all..

I was taking 40 Norcos 10mg a day and than went on suboxone 8mgs and cut down to
2mgs and it was no problem.  If that is all that you where taking you should be fine.

It will be like having a small case of flu, upste stomach/diarrhea for about 3 or 4 days, the only thing that might be a problem is the RLS (restless legs)   my doctor gave me requip (non narc) it helped a great deal, others have used hot baths, epsom salt.

That is the only thing that MIGHT bother you.  I would like to say this, If I where you I would do this now while your still at a small amount.  The longer you wait to detox be worse it will be.  ANd its is worth every thing to be drug free.

You will get the support you need here and the help...

Hang in there, and yes I worked 10 hrs a day while detoxing, plus took care of my home and all of that stuff.  It is better when you keep busy.

Good luck

If you are only on two percocet a day, you can for sure do this in seven days, or at least have the worst over.  plus, even tapering a half pill per day would make it much easier, that's probably what I would do, but it is up to the individual as to what works best for them.  Good Luck - so proud of you!

You've got a week to taper, can you do that too?  Can you cut your doses to prepare?

Like Mimi said, the ones that are active seem to do better. I exercised while withdrawing and it made a huge difference. I would go for a long walk around 7 in the evening, come home take a hot bath, watch some tv, and then hit the sack. I think that is what made the biggest difference for me. I know it can be so hard to muster up the energy to to so, but you feel so much better. If you're going to listen to anything I say, make sure it's this! I can't stress it enough. I've detoxed 6 times and the times I went for walks were much easier. Also drink plenty of water. I felt almost completely back to normal after 7 days when I exercised. Even if it's just a short walk to start. You will see how much better it makes you feel and you'll walk even farther the next night. I think I started off with 1/2 mile and by the 5 day I was up to over 3 miles. That's just how much better I felt afterwards!

Also, if you have until the 26th can you taper? I did and it prolonged the wd's but they were a little easier.

I think most folks, while not out of the woods, are probably doing better on the 8th day.  Not everyone mind you, but you shouldn't be puking and cra**ing at that point.  You'll probably be tired and wired though.  Hang in there.  There are some folks who've done this while working, somehow.  I'm sure they'll be here to help you in a few....

I agree with bmc. 7 days should be okay. You won't be 100% but you will be able to work. And the energy is the last to come back and sometimes the sleep. Check out the top of the page in the right hand cormer for the thomas recipe and amino acids. They're really helpful to get through this. I notice that the people who seem to have a little bit of an easier time are the ones who try to get active as soon as possible. Good luck and keep posting, it really helps!

OMG, you should absolutely do this!!!  Can I ask what you are on?  I was back to work in 7 days.  Actually in 4 but then I missed the 5th and 6th....but back on 7th.   How much do you take?  You have a better plan and situation than many....I'm actually excited for you.  Take advantage of the vacation you have.

You should be doing much better by the 8th day. The worst of the physical withdrawals should be over. You may have some lack of energy. It will also be somewhat of a mental battle. It's different for everyone. I felt almost completely back to normal after 7 days. What were you taking and how much? Best of luck to you!
