well this is my first time responding to one of these "time" posts. I have 4 months in from methadone. Whoever said the detox is the easy part and the mental is the hard part sure was right, I am struggling mentally and just hope this will go away soon. Congrats to all of you with clean time and also to those who are now detoxing. Take care.

Today I marched into PM, paid my $35 copay, and had a heart to heart with the doctor. I have ended the OXYCODONE scripts. Left there empty handed, but (I know this will sound silly) I had that "its Christmas Morning" feeling. Even called my wife at her work.
The doctor wants to see me back in a month, to "see how I am doing"
That one I will handle with a phone call.
