help me please. !

My boyfriend has been wd from subs for  about 72 hours now I have been trying to be the biggest help but there isn't much I can do besides comfort him . His legs are in pain he hot one minute then cold the next . And worst of all he barrely gets any sleep !!! Benadryl has not worked, and all ibprofen does is make it worse. I've been debaiting on wether or not I should give him a little bit of a sub but I'm not sure if it will make him relapse.... Ive Googled things on what to do or what will help and I've seen these website's are very helpful . If anyone out there can help me out espesally with the sleeping problem it would be great ! Thanks

immodium... definately helps in more ways than one. Only take it for 10 days or so because eventually his digestive system is gonna have to learn to work on its own. The detox though, it's rough and its okay to treat the worst of your symptoms with otc meds. push the fluids into him... gatorade is supposed to help but I found that I could only drink water.... I've seen on here some ppl treat their symptoms with a little pot but I don't know about that.... Look at the positive... you've made it what 5 days now? almost 5 days? that's halfway there! one day at a time... he should start slowly feeling a little better, although it's not always easy to recognize. I remember when I slept 5 hours straight through one night around day 14... I woke up and wanted to celebrate.... hot baths and try to get outside... swimming helps because you get some sunshine and exercise... I'm on my way to the pool now! Good Luck! Tell your BF we're pulling for him! Great Job!

He can take immodium.
Pretty sure they have one for cramping.
He can eat light food.toast.yogurt.crackers.soups.
I pray he feels better.

Please have him definitely look into some one on one counseling and support groups.
Substance abusers use to either bury emotional pain, wounds, scars or are self medicating to stabilizer there mood

HI 4 mg is doable but it is not going to be pleasant you got a week to 10 days worth of what your going threw
what ever you do DONT GIVE HIM MORE it will only prolong the withdrawals this is something you just have to let come out of your system hot baths will help they make some stuff for the rls you can get it at walmart its called highlands restful legs and will help wish you all the luck in the world with this but jumping at 4mg is a ruff ride down God bless.....Gnarly

4mg. And yes he was prescribed to them by a doctor. Buddys of his were on 8 or higher and he would at times abuse theres. The thing is he was injecting them not sniffing or putting under the tounge and I have read your wd will be different in some ways .

hello and welcome to the forum. was your bf prescribed the sub from a doctor?
he should have tapered down very low.  what was the last dose he took?
many people taper down to shavings or crumbs.
bendryl many times makes the rls worse. he can take hot bath with epsom salts, take magnesium and potasssium tabs. eat bananas, these will help with the rls.
there are over the counter natural sleep aids, alteril, sleep by nature made, main ingredients are valerian root and melatonin. his natural brain chemicals need to start to produce again. exercise is very beneficial in this way.
