Thank you both so much. I am keeping my chin up and trying to stay positive!
Be VERY thankful that he is there.. he is in a safe enviorment,he will not be overdosing or using, he is getting healthy for your family and himself. This should be a good day.I am sure that you miss him, but think about how much you'd miss him if he was gone forever because of his addiction. While he is gone it will be tough, I know, try to find things to do while he is gone that might be helpful to your family when he gets home. Find support groups that deal with families of addicts, spend time with friends and family... write him letters, just do anything that is healthy and productive, and take care of your baby!! I am sure that he is noticing that something is "wrong" with his mommy and daddy, and if he sees you upset, that will most likely stress him or make him more nervous. Focus on the good in the situation, not the bad. A few weeks apart is much better than a lifetime! I wish your family luck!
rehab helped my son save his life ! ! !
rejoice that he is there...
