Doing well but feeling sick! ......why?

Hi All, Im now on day 7 clean from codeine. Starting 2 feel much better. The only thing is I went to work this morning & although I wasnt feeling tired or without energy I did feel really sick. Just wondered if anyone had any tips on how to combat it. It would of been a great day otherwise lol!!

It does take some time for us to bounce back.  I am over a month clean and still feeling kinda lethargic at times, especially mornings and evenings.  I also get hit with these sort of wd flashbacks.  I know what they are and I just need to let it pass.  I think it is my bodies way of saying "oh come on, just one wont hurt".  I also think its the time of year, we need spring!

I agree with Gizzy that you might need some vitamins etc.  For women its often necessary for a B complex vitamin too.  Cant hurt and it might help.

I dont think my w/d's have ended as such. Got over the hump but am not bouncing with energy. Im just ok I guess. Managing to go to work & stuff but feel weak. Ive got quite an energetic job, so I struggled today. I just didnt have the energy to run around like I usually do & the nausea did me head in! lol. Havent looked at the amino acid protocal but thanks for mentioning it, I will def check it out.

Congrats on a week clean that is great. Our bodies took a beating when using and it does take time to recover, but your well on your way now:) So does it feel like the flu and your w/d's have ended? Have you looked at the amino acid protocal in the health pages here, it can really help.
